Judy Pennington is a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach with The Hayes Group, specializing in IT transformation and the intersection of people and technology. With over 30 years of experience, Judy focuses on IT workforce transformation, organizational design, culture, change management, and leadership development. She has coached executives to enhance their communication, teamwork, and leadership effectiveness, helping them navigate complex change initiatives and build stronger peer relationships.
Prior to joining Hayes, Judy was a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting, where she led the IT workforce transformation practice and served as a CIO Fellow. She was also part of the leadership faculty for the CIO Next Generation Academy. Judy’s career spans roles at Accenture, AG Edwards, American Express, and Wells Fargo, where she led HR teams, managed IT professionals, and developed talent management processes and systems. She has contributed thought leadership, co-authoring articles for the Wall Street Journal CIO Report and Deloitte’s Technical Trends Report, including pieces on the “IT Worker of the Future” (2015) and “RightSpeeding IT” (2016).
Judy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and has served on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Indiana University School of Informatics. She currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
