Randall Baker is a Senior Consultant with The Hayes Group International, specializing in executive coaching, leadership development, and organizational transformation. With over 40 years of experience in business ownership and corporate management, Randall has a deep passion for helping senior leaders and executive teams enhance their leadership capabilities and drive organizational success. His coaching approach blends practical business expertise with a focus on leadership growth, guiding clients through complex challenges, change initiatives, and leadership transitions.
Previously, Randall led the Merger and Acquisition practice at Hayes Group in partnership with HayesNovus, where he played a pivotal role in several mid-market transactions, overseeing the integration of newly acquired businesses. He has managed manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Europe, leading the relocation of product lines during business transitions, and worked closely with clients in the construction and energy sectors, including ABB, Westinghouse, and the Department of Defense Office of Naval Research. Randall’s coaching has supported leaders in navigating these transitions and driving profitable growth post-acquisition.
Randall’s background as a founding co-owner and General Manager of Abbey Green, a stand-alone construction and demolition recycler, further complements his coaching expertise. Abbey Green was recognized for its innovative recycling techniques and received the Mayor’s Award for Company of the Year. Randall also spent 20 years with Westinghouse Electric Corporation and ABB, where he successfully transformed underperforming businesses into profitable entities. As Senior Vice President at ABB, he oversaw projects worth $2 billion in turnover.
Randall holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M and has completed executive development programs at both the Wharton Executive School of Management and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
