Dr. Terri Marts is a Senior Consultant with The Hayes Group, bringing 48 years of experience in the Energy, Environment, Defense, Industrials, and Infrastructure sectors. She specializes in advising senior executives on leadership, organizational effectiveness, strategy, and business development, leveraging her extensive executive experience in profit and loss management.
Before joining Hayes Group, Terri held key leadership roles in some of the largest projects within her industries. She served as Senior Vice President of High-Level Waste Mission Integration for a $20B nuclear waste cleanup program at Hanford, WA, was President of AECOM’s Nuclear and Environmental Technical Services Business, and was VP & Program Manager for the $500M National Energy Technology Laboratory Research Services contract in her role at URS. Additionally, as President of URS’s Washington Defense Group, she managed a $650M business supporting federal defense contracts. In her role as General Manager for Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Systems, Terri oversaw a $290M business unit delivering R&D, manufacturing, and support services for energy and defense markets. She also led the divestiture of Westinghouse Printing/Media, which operated under her tenure as Source W Communications. Prior to those roles, Terri held various positions of increasing responsibilities at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Under Terri’s leadership, each of these businesses improved in performance, exceeded growth targets, and successfully managed through significant changes including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Terri also led R&D programs at the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University focused on energy, security, and health.
